‘Cape to Cape on the Tillamook Coast’
From Sept. 22 to 24, NCLC took participants on a journey walking nearly 30 miles of the world-class Oregon Coast Trail. In 2023, we jumped down to the wild splendor of the Tillamook Coast, with its long beaches and sand spits, broad bays, and forested headlands.
We hiked what’s known as the Three Capes region of the Oregon Coast, summiting two of those capes along the way. Every day started and ended in the port town of Garibaldi. Over the course of the three days, we traversed the beach and also climbed to spectacular vistas within Cape Meares State Park and National Wildlife Refuge and Cape Lookout State Park.
CoastWalk Oregon is NCLC’s signature annual fundraising event, and it supports our conservation and stewardship efforts on the Oregon Coast. Read More
